The Japantown Community Congress of San Jose (JCCsj) was formed to represent the community, and help preserve and develop one of the three remaining Japantowns in the United States. The JCCsj worked in partnership with the City of San Jose on capital improvement projects "Ikoi no Ba" Landmarks on the corner of 5th and Jackson, and Japantown's historical markers.
